My name is John Amburgey,. I am recruiter for Aegis Mission Essential Personnel. We currently have Pashto/Dari linguist positions overseas that your qualifications indicate you may be suited for. Our company, Aegis MEP has been awarded a five-year contract by the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) to provide translation and interpretation services in Afghanistan. This is an opportunity for you to help rebuild Afghanistan and provide cultural awareness and support where needed. I have listed the details of the position below and compensation for a first year contract is up to $210,000/yr for US Citizens.. Requirements:
--Must be a U.S. Citizen fluent in speaking Pashto and Dari
-- Must be willing to obtain a security clearance
-- Must be willing to travel overseas, in this case, Afghanistan
Duties:
-- Providing general language and cultural support for U.S. Military personnel and citizens of Afghanistan to aide in the rebuilding process.
-- Interpret spoken communications during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
--Translate written documents, newspaper articles, and other written media.
Vacation/Leave:
--10 days after 6 months of service (20 days after 1 year of service)
